Dallas Area Compliance Association (DACA) – General Meeting

The Dallas Area Compliance Association (DACA) hosted Rebecca Escario, CAMS, in May 2026 for a presentation titled, “Community Credit Needs Assessments (CCNAs): A Data-Driven Approach to Fair Lending and CRA Compliance.”

Rebecca discussed how financial institutions can use data analysis to identify and address community credit needs. She highlighted the “triple threat” benefits of this approach: ensuring fair lending compliance, achieving Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) success, and fostering business growth. The presentation delved into understanding market dynamics, demographic realities, and borrower preferences, using various data sources and qualitative research to inform actionable strategies for product development, outreach, and ongoing monitoring.

DACA is an organization comprised of more than 70 institutions and compliance-related businesses across Texas.
