CrossCheck Compliance is thrilled to announce that Monika McCarthy, its General Counsel, has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee of American Bar Association’s Business Law Section. This Committee, which also includes Dredeir Roberts as Co-Chair, is comprised of in house counsel, outside counsel and representatives of agencies that regulate corporate activity. It provides a forum discussing contemporary corporate counsel issues and offers valuable educational and networking opportunities.
Throughout Monika’s active involvement with the ABA, she has showcased dedication and expertise in advancing business law issues and expanding the diversity of those involved. Monika’s appointment is a testament to her leadership, knowledge, and contributions to the legal community. In this role, alongside Dredeir, Monika will lead efforts to guide the committee, foster collaboration, and drive initiatives to expand the involvement of in house counsel and provide relevant programming.
