Todd is a senior mortgage executive with over 25 years of mortgage lending experience. He has operational experience as both a portfolio investor and mortgage banker. The Loan Review practice performs pre-funding quality assurance and post-closing quality control, as well as operational audits of origination and quality control departments, and repurchase, fraud, and servicing reviews. Due diligence services include rated securitizations, portfolio purchases/reviews, and mergers and acquisitions. The Litigation Support practice provides expert services including file review, reports, and testimony in relation to mortgage-backed securities, servicing, and repurchase matters.
Prior to joining CrossCheck in 2008, Todd was a senior vice president for Heartland Bank where he was responsible for underwriting and quality control. Before that, as a regional underwriting manager for Household/HSBC Mortgage Services, he supervised the monthly credit, compliance, fraud, and collateral accounting for as much as $1 billion in monthly volume.
Todd has presented extensively at Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) conferences and for various state mortgage banking associations on such topics as appraisal review, fraud, compliance, managing risk in mortgage lending, and quality control. He is also a published author on the subjects of quality control, fraud and managing risk in mortgage originations.
