Daniel is a senior compliance professional with comprehensive mid-size and large-size bank experience in leadership, regulatory compliance, risk management, operations management, enterprise program administration, and compliance training. He is proficient in deposit, lending, regulatory compliance and mortgage servicing compliance laws and regulations. His specialized knowledge includes fair banking programs and consumer complaint management program design. He has developed numerous fair lending statistical models in the areas of denial, pricing, and fallout disparity. He has also been involved in bank acquisitions and provided advisory services to separate bank divisions under the holding company for mortgage, mortgage servicing, trust, and private banking.

Prior to joining CrossCheck, Daniel was Vice President, Enterprise Fair Banking Officer at First United Bank & Trust Company, a mid-size bank, where he directed the fair banking compliance program, the fair lending compliance program, and the consumer complaint management program. He has also held senior compliance and risk management positions at MidFirst Bank, one of the largest privately owned banks in the country with over $30 billion in assets. Daniel has been an active participant in industry trade associations including serving as a committee member of the Community Bankers Association, a fair lending and UDAAP working group member of the American Bankers Association, and a compliance working group member of the Mid-size Bank Coalition of America (MBCA). He has also presented at the Wolters Kluwer CRA and Fair Lending Colloquium.
