Cindy is a 20-year mortgage professional with experience in underwriting, compliance, due diligence and quality assurance. With CrossCheck, under the direction of an expert witness, Cindy has overseen the forensic underwriting review of mortgage loans involved in residential mortgage-backed securities litigation. She has also consulted with attorneys on case strategy, assisted with report writing and in deposition preparation for the supported expert and the opposing expert. Cindy has also led a regional team in reviewing mortgage insurance claims to qualify claims for payment by the mortgage insurers.
Prior to joining CrossCheck in 2008, Cindy spent 10 years at HSBC, one of the world’s largest banks, and Household International prior to its acquisition by HSBC. In her last position at HSBC, Cindy performed onsite due diligence reviews of mortgage portfolios for acquisition.
